Looking for a school supply list? You won’t find one—because at Hood Canal, we provide everything your child needs. From pencils and notebooks to backpacks and classroom materials, we’ve got it covered. Families are always welcome to purchase a special backpack or extra supplies if they’d like, but we make sure every student is fully equipped on day one.
And when it comes to meals, there’s no need to add money to your child’s meal account—breakfast and lunch are already paid for every single day. Whether students pack a lunch or enjoy school meals, we make sure no one goes hungry.
Thanks to the generous support of our local levy and dedicated community partners, families don’t need to worry about back-to-school shopping or extra fees. It’s one more way we’re ensuring every child can focus on learning—not what they’re missing.
In addition, Hood Canal offers a free food and clothing pantry to support our families year-round. Whether you’re in need of extra groceries or school-appropriate clothing, the pantry is here to help.
We invite all families to stop by during our Open House on Monday, September 2, to stock up on school clothes and food items from the pantry.
